How To Draw A Magnolia Flower – Allows Contact Initiated!

Step 1

In this first part of our guide on drawing a magnolia flower, we will start with the stem and the first leaves of the flower. You can draw the trunk with a thick, jagged line that forms an acute angle like the trunk in our reference image. Then you can draw the first leaf from the flower’s bottom. The leaf will have a rough rounded outline with a pointed tip. Then you can draw details for the incoming edge line and a center rib for the leaf. Finally, draw two large rounded petals above this leaf for this step. The last thing to draw after that will be two more leaves on the right side.

Step 2: Extract the remaining superior blush and count some leaf pieces.

In the next step, you will draw the rest of the first flower of your magnolia flower design. This will produce the petals you outlined in the earlier phase. This flower comprises multiple layers of petals, so try building up the individual petals you see in the reference image to create the first flower set. Once you’ve drawn the first flower, we can move on to the leaves you drew in the last step. Add a few more details for the leaf row, and you’re ready to move on to step 3!

Step 3: Following, can more leave on the stalk.

These leaves will be longer and thinner than most of the other leaves you’ve drawn in this tutorial. Other than those details, they will look the same! All these leaves will connect to a central stem extending from the top of the flower head. This trunk won’t be visible, but it will be drawn with the same thick, jagged line you used for the main trunk. Finally, start drawing another stem that will go up, but try to keep it short because we’ll be adding a flower to it soon.

Step 4: Nowadays, release another bloom on the limb.

This magnolia flower drawing is already stunning! For this step and the next, we’ll add a few more flowers to the image to finish it off. For now, we’ll add a flower to the short stem you drew in the previous step. This one will have several leaves at the base and layers of petals, but it will be smaller and thinner than the other flowers. Then we’ll cover the final details in the next step!
